Born and raised in the mountainous region of Okhaldhunga, near the Everest region, Lakpa developed his guiding career at an early age, a common path for many Sherpa people. His deep-rooted knowledge of the terrain and commitment to sharing the beauty of Nepal’s mountains with trekkers has made him an esteemed guide in the industry.

Wangda Sherpa is a skilled and experienced professional trekking guide with over 12 years of expertise in trekking, peak climbing, and mountaineering expeditions throughout the Himalayas. Over the periods of his career, he has successfully organized and led treks in some of Nepal’s most renowned regions, including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Dolpo, and Kanchenjunga.

In 2023, he became an Everest Summiteer by successfully reaching the summit of Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak (8,848m), and has also climbed many other trekking peaks.

With a deep understanding of the Himalayan terrain and a passion for showcasing the natural beauty of Nepal, Wangda has built a reputation as a reliable and knowledgeable guide and organizer in the industry.

To promote Nepal’s tourism, Wangda has actively participated in travel and tourism fairs in the UK, Netherlands, Hong Kong, China, and Nepal, representing his company, Trekker Nepal Private Limited, to a global audience.

Chhiring Sherpa is one of Nepal’s most respected and accomplished high-altitude climbers, proudly representing Trekker Nepal Pvt. Ltd.
